Privacy Policy

When you analyze a channel with Vakyalytics, we read public comments, captions, and engagement metrics from that channel via the official platform API (currently YouTube Data API v3). We do not scrape, and we do not access private content.

We store the comments and analysis results in our database so you can revisit your dashboard without re-fetching. We also store basic account information (email, channel handle) if you sign up.

Comment data is used only to power your dashboard — sentiment analysis, topic clustering, question detection, and brand pitch reports. We may use aggregated, anonymized data to improve our models. We do not sell your data, ever.

Some features (brand pitch reports, persona generation, topic labeling) call out to OpenAI's API. Per OpenAI's policy, API data is not used to train their models. We send only the summarized inputs required for the task, never raw user credentials.

We retain your dashboard data as long as your account is active. You can request deletion at any time by emailing vish@vakyalytics.com — we'll wipe your channel data and analysis results within 7 days.

We use AWS for hosting (data resides in ap-south-1, Mumbai), OpenAI for AI features, and Resend for transactional email. We do not use third-party analytics, ad networks, or trackers.

You can access, export, or delete your data at any time. Email vish@vakyalytics.com and we'll respond within 5 business days.
